I would love to see a pure/street stock type class start at Lucas. Wheatland is a lot closer than Lebanon from Urbana (I'm 3 miles from DCS... Gonna miss that). It would be the only track in southwest Missouri, and maybe further than that, to run something below a Factory Stock on a track bigger than 1/4 mile. I think it would be a great move since the track size makes it exclusive. I'd run there for sure.

I agree with pure21, a pure stock class at los would be awsome. I'd run there for sure.

Seems to me that Monett Speedway is in southwest Missouri. It is bigger than 1/4 mile and they run pure stocks. Not saying it's a bad idea, just saying they wouldn't be the "only" track in SWMO bigger than 1/4 mile to run them.

I guess that's true wild3bill. So I guess LOS would be the only track within 100 miles or so to run Pures on more than 1/4. I read Monett's Pure Stock rules and you're allowed to have 4 barrel carbs and Hoosier tires. To me that's a Bomber class, but that's not to say LOS wouldn't create something similar. I'm used to DOT tires and 2 barrels, but I've got a Holley 4 barrel and some G60's if that's what Pure Stocks are going to evolve to :)
