  4. Racing is life Girls love to play in the dirt too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, My name is Brandi and I am new to the site. Who would have thought I wouldn't know about this site for now. My love started for racing when my father and uncle raced a street stock #55 double SS racing at bolivar and 1-44. That was like 17 years ago..man am I telling my age (sorta) LOL anyways...I didn't even know dirt tracks existed til I moved back to MO in 2007 and my husband got me to go to springfield for the first time..I was hooked. Now we go as much as I can get away with, he isn't as in to it as I am, but I think Monett is my favorite. I get to see a lot of my favorite drivers all in one track, since Monett has the Late Models as well as the A mods. I wish I could say that I have had the pleasure of driving a car on dirt, but that has yet to be seen. Who knows I may 60 before I get one, then I might be to old to race. LOL well that is a little of my history and story. Hope to be able to talk to other race drivers or fans on here as well.
    :D
  5. MFR Car Owner

My name is Ed Medlin from Billings, MO and we are owners of the #57 modified and run at Lebanon I-44 Speedway. Tyler Scott of Nixa is our young driver who has experience in carts, Legends, Baby Grands and now the modified. My only racing experience was in the 1960s in SCCA club racing at Road America, but have been a motorsports fan my entire life. My wife and I formed Medlin Family Racing in a cooperative effort with the Scott family and we have a lot of fun and have met some really fine folks in the racing community here in SW Missouri.
