I think the poll results speak for themselves.....I think the track officials should listen to the drivers, alot of the replys on this forum are from spectators, who have no financial interest in the cars. When the drivers can no longer afford to fix their cars and race, there willbe no spectators come and fill the seats. They need to take a look at the way other ASA tracks run their program, this nonsense would not be tolerated, as the cars would be parked by the officials....this goes from jumping the starts to turning somone going down the straightaway....at most ASA tracks it would have came to an end long ago.

THANKS LARRY..AND THE SAME HERE FROM ME..AND ANYONE ELSE WHO NEEDS MY HELP AT ANY TIME, I'LL DO WHAT I CAN TO HELP ANYONE,, ALWAYS,,THATS JUST HOW MY FATHER RAISED ME AND THATS HOW I'M STAYING, LIKE IT OR NOT. PLUS IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF..(HELPING OUTHERS). BECAUSE I AM FROM THE OL SCHOOL . JIM VANZANDT, DRIVER OF THE #67.
  10. Jim V, very very nicely put!!! Your Father sounds like a Stand up man that taught you the values of life well!!! Values Taught, Values Learned, Values passed down!!! Which I'm sure He's very proud of the Man He raised!!! The same thing our Father Taught our family as well!!! That's what men & women had & are fighting for that have sacrifised their lifes and body for the freedom of this Great Country of the True Values of the American way!!! I served for our country in the Marines and it makes me proud to know that True Family Values are still alive!!! Thanks for being such a Stand Up Man of Your own of which a few are trying to turn everyone against a fellow Driver!!! Has she bumped, Yes, Has she been bumped, Yes, Has other drivers Bumped other Drivers, Yes... That's part of racing... But she has never had a attitude of taking someone out intentionally or wreck someone car!!! She knows the cost very well... Her first week... $8,000.00 and 2,000 miles later to be fixed!!! It's not a house car, her team didn't even have a funel to fuel the car a tape measure nor air for the tires and No tools... None... Didn't even have a way to get the car to the track... A fellow racer and his team gave a helping hand in letting her team borrow tools and air... Speaking of True taught Values this Young lady which was taught and passed down to her... One night that driver had a bad wreck and she told him, If it wasn't for me being in a tight points race, I'd give you my car to race in the feature!!! A stand Up Young Lady with Values, Chrissy Wallace #93.... If all the drivers would see how her small crew with so little that has worked so hard to get the #93 going, they would be in such awe and amazed how they got the car where it's at!!! To all whom is reading this and are drivers, if you really stopped the animosity because she's female and a Wallace and treat her as a fellow driver, You'd see what a fun loving talented racer with True Values she really is!!! None of Us are perfect, so can we get back to Clean Hard respectful racing at the Beautiful Lebanon - I 44 Track that the Willards has built... Treat fellow drivers well, they will come back, more fans will come and the pay outs will in turn be Bigger!!! Boggity Boggity Boggity... Lets Get back to racing lady & Gents!!!

That is one reason that Mr. Baltzell needs a whole lot more recognition for being a very kind fellow driver as he let Kenny Dickenson drive his car this past weekend as he is in the tight points race. So from me to Mr. Baltzell, thank you for your kindness allowing Kenny to drive your car to keep his points up. That is what friendship is all about. Thanks

Her Dad raced there and he always took very good care of his Race Car. Because if He crashed Them it would cost him alot of money to fix them and theyre not Cheap to fix. He told her to race clean and you will come out ahead.

She can Race with Some Big Boys and Girls that Drive NASCAR Truck, & Nationwide Racing. Racing is in her Blood, I think her goal is to keep Racing clean and better herself. And keep her name out there. Shes there to Race just like her dad did and He won some and lost some there but always had a great time there.

Thanks To the Willards for keeping the Race Track open so Young Boys and Girls can fill there Dreams so they can go Big like theyre Dad did.

Thanks all Track Owners for giving us the Great Racecar Drivers that drive on their Track and now we can Watch Them on TV, Like Asa, NASCAR Truck, Nationwide & NASCAR Racing . Thank You again.

See you all Sat. Nite and lets have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Good Luck Sat Nite.

I do think it is ironic that many of the complaints about "rough driving" are coming from the racers themselves, as if the racetrack is somehow responsible for creating the problem. Look in the mirror, folks . . . we can make the rules and try to enforce them consistently and fairly, but we can't drive your racecars for you. That's your responsibility, and yours alone, as a driver. The vast majority of the on-track incidents that have happened this year (particularly in the Late Model class) have been a direct result of someone driving a car with a bad set-up past its limits, and/or not maintaining reasonable control of their racecar. Here's the deal in a nutshell: This is a contact sport, and if anyone thinks our officials are going to wave the black flag every time a racer touches another competitor on the track, or uses the chrome horn to clear the path for their clearly faster car to pass, you are mistaken. Likewise, if you think we will tolerate racers using excessive force - i.e., "beating and banging" or taking a position by "dumping" another competitor - OR racers using excessive "mirror-driving" and "checker-boarding" techniques to block an obviously faster racecar behind them, you are ALSO mistaken. So here's some sound advice: Take responsibility for your own actions on the racetrack . . . and for heaven's sake, try to have some FUN when you come to the racetrack, OK?

I dont have a Dog in this....but are you telling them to fix the problem themselves ? or are you telling them to return to Dirt racing ? Brian Monnahan

Your last sentence says it all. If it ever stops being fun and I have to worry every week about who is going to be calling out who I will be out of there quick. All things considered, our division has been pretty good about showing respect to each other and I really appreciate that. Any incidents that have happened have been short lived and not carried on week after week. A lot of that is due to you and the others at I-44 who do their very best to make each and every weekend the best show possible, nipping issues that may come up in the bud, and I thank you very much for that. Showing respect to your fellow racers goes a long way towards earning respect. A lot of our young fans hold you guys and gals in high regard, it is time that everyone steps up and earns that. That goes for the veterans as well as the younger drivers and crews.

You know i do see what your saying that it is a contact sport but your flag man rolled up the black flag three or four times last saturday and warned christy wallace if that had been any other driver out there they would have already been black flaged i have watched races at i44 since 1992 and it is very clear to see that you favor christy wallace over the other drivers !!!! So while you are trying to help the wallace family get their daughter to nascar remember you have race fans like me that are very dissapointed in you for letting this go on !!!! If you will watch the race like you should you will clearly see that she hits everything on the track but the darn firetruck !!!!! Why don't you quit pading your wallet and do something about it come on be a man!!!!!!!!!!!!! From A UNHAPPY FAN!!!!!!!!!!

  19. CARS2FAST Member

HAAAAA Finally someone spoke up!! I was wondering when someone would have the guts to speak the truth! FAVORTISM!
really sad to see you do this to your local drivers I to saw the flagman shake black flag a few times wake up guys the track isn't going to do what they should be doing they will just turn it around on you.
