    Aluminum doors are good.

Aluminum doors would be ok. The flat quarters is where it starts to look not factory stock. The fenders should also be stock appearing. At the end of the year some of the cars had flat sides and were open at the back. The back of the cars should be covered with somthing that looks oem from the stands, not just a piece of tin hanging down Every time you change the rules it will cost us money. 2 barrel carb, we all now have 4 barrel carbs why change that. we are not going to use a salvage yard carb, everyone wil have to go buy a 2 barrel from c& s willies etc. The factory stock rules at LOS are good rules. JMO but....Bodies and floor pan will never effect how a car runs as long as the guy with aluminum body weighs the same... I think it would be awesome to go down there and race...Valley is our only option up here and that stinks...but for me it is just simpler and cheaper to make body as opposed to preparing a stock one and painting it...Hope we can come down there, i think it would be fun...

i agree but it does change the way a car runs in the fact that you can put weight where you need it to make weight rule. So if the guy running a steel body weighs 3100 and the alum. body weights 2800 then that guy can add 300 to where it needs to help the car.

If they go to a 2 barrel carb rule, call me, I can get you a 4412 Holley 2 bbl. that will pass tech. and flows right at 820 cfm for a little less than $1200.00 + freight
  6. Yeah, if they go 2bbl it needs a retail price claim...

Rex: Im new to this forum and I know that alot of folks on here respect what you have to say, But I know and so do YOU that you can not get a guage legal 500cfm 2bbl that will flow 820cfm. I've seen a 500-2bbl that flowed 800cfm built by C&S and know way was that thing even close to guage legal. Don't want to start any problems but I'm calling B.S..

How bout putting cubic inch rules head rules and some compression rules and some tech tools to check for everything and some old time racer who got tired of getting out ran by Mr cheating money bags to tech and I think factory stock should be what its called FACTORY STOCK and the cars that r running that class now should be called SUPER STOCKS jmo
