There is a planned practice session at LA Raceway that falls on the same day as a scheduled practice at Valley Speedway. We want to ensure everyone that Dennis Shrout at Valley Speedway IS NOT upset with this. A ULMA driver/board member rented the track at LA and offered to let other people come practice with him, it's that simple. There was no intention of competing with any track, it's a simple one-off practice by this driver to help him work on a personal matter with his race program. It has nothing to do with supporting or not supporting a track that runs ULMA. We fully support Valley Speedway and are appreciative of their efforts and look forward to a strong season with them, a great deal of work and planning went into ULMA and Valley working out a great year of racing. I would hope that misinformation would not lead to its demise. As I stated, thankfully, although Dennis read the post, he IS NOT upset about this!

Valley has many practices scheduled and I'm sure many people will take advantage of that. This one off practice at LA was planned to be late models only.

The one issue here may be that an email that was addressed to and intended for a private email group audience was cut and pasted with someone's identification name clearly visible onto a public message board. As frequently occurs on message boards, things were taken out of context.

My personal time was wasted in many ways today over this issue by answering phone calls, emails, etc when it could have been used doing more productive things for this association.
